At the invitation of the Head of the NGO “Belarusian Community of Ukraine” Oleksiy Frantskevich, we visited the House of Free Belarus to see the scale of their humanitarian and civic mission.
We are grateful to Oleksiy for the deep and frank dialogue. The community’s work covers several critically important areas:
➡️ Comprehensive assistance to Belarusian volunteers who, together with Ukrainians, defend our common freedom.
➡️ Perpetuation of the exploits and preservation of the names of Belarusian heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine and freedom.
➡️ Active work to revive and popularize the Belarusian language and culture, which is the basis of national consciousness.
This meeting reinforced the importance of our partnership, enshrined in the memorandum within the framework of #UnitedForRights. We are united not only by common threats, but also by common values: freedom, dignity, and the right to our own language and history.
Together we discussed further steps in cooperation aimed at strengthening all these areas.
