How can we effectively protect human rights in conditions of war and conflict? Together, representatives of the civil sector from different corners of Europe sought answers to this question.
\nWithin the framework of the “United for Rights” project, we held a powerful event on the topic “Protecting Human Rights on the Front Line!”
\nWhat makes this event special? The dialogue included representatives of the civil sector not only from Ukraine but also from our friend-partners from Armenia and Georgia. This allowed us to combine the practical experience of countries that also face the challenges of war and occupation.
\nTogether we discussed:
\n\u2705 Legal protection of civilians in frontline territories.
\n\u2705 Mechanisms for documenting war crimes.
\n\u2705 Psychological support and adaptation for IDPs.
\n\u2705 Access to basic services: medicine, humanitarian aid.
\nWe believe that precisely this kind of international cooperation allows us to find the most effective solutions for protecting what is most important\u2014the life and dignity of every person.
